The metal ring worked perfectly as it should. The rubber gasket was very weak rubber and stretched and allowed fuel to leak.

Il n’est pas comme l’original. J’ai plus de fuite avec ce produit que l’ancien sur Chrysler 300 2008. J’ai réinstallé l’ancien avec de la graisse à bearing comme joint et ça fonctionne…

One note, the o-ring is thicker than the OEM. The (my) OEM seal was a four lobed square o-ring, not round like this one. It seems to seal fine but takes a LOT more torque to install. I lubed the retainer ring to fuel pump surface and used a 1/2" drive breaker bar along with this must have tool:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FX4123R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1That tool fits this ring perfectly and is way better than using a hammer and chisel.NOTE! with the above being said, the ring has TWO detents. When you install the ring, you feel the first detent as you turn it but that's not installed, you "have" to turn more to the second detent to lock the ring on and since the seal is thicker you're gonna need a lot of muscle.
