Put them in my 350 build, everyone one of them that go into the water jacket leaked like crazy and got water into my oil on brand new build! Yes each stud got thread sealer and was your are correctly!

During normal engine short block assembly one of these Chinese studs stretched and broke off down in the block. (I knew better than to use them, but this budget build influenced my decision.) That prompted a visit back to my machine shop and luckily they got it out. Bought ARP replacements and had no problems. Wish I had bought them first!

Some of the studs seem a bit to short, or the corse thread that goes into the block is to long. After torquing the studs into the block and installing the heads I noticed a few of the nuts didn't have 100% thread engagement. Meaning the stud didn't come all the way through the nut as it should.

Good quality studs, washers and nuts. Fit perfectly and torqued down to 65lbs on my 350 sbc with Brodix heads.
