Speedminton - Anywhere, Anytime
Speedminton combines the best of tennis, racketball and badminton in one game (Sport is called Crossminton). It can be played anywhere and on most surfaces. The game is easy to set up in minutes because no net is required.
The Speeders (birdies) are intended for both indoor and outdoor use. They are shorter, heavier, narrower and more durable than traditional badminton shuttlecocks. Therefore they fly more stable in wind, are water -deviating and can glow in the dark with a light stick (Speedlights are available from Speedminton).
The game is easy to learn and is suitable for players of all ages. It can be played in singles or doubles.

The Night Speeder, together with a Speedlight , are made for playing in the dawn and darkness: simply put a Speedlight (light stick) into the transluscent cap of the night speeder and off you go. Light and Night Speeders can be purchased separately and are not included in the set.
Play indoor and outdoor
Speedminton was developed as an easy to set up outdoor game. Unlike Badminton, you can play up to 4 BF wind strength with the unique Speedminton Speeder and wind ring (included in the set).
The Easy Court (not included in this set)
The Easy Court Basic is a portable court made of blue nylon including 8 metal pegs for safe attachment to lawn.
The field consists of two squares 18 x 18 feet with a distance of 42 feet in between.
The court can be set up up by one or two players within minutes.
Speeder - Made in Germany
The original Speedminton Speeders are produced sustainably in Germany using recyclable materials. Speedminton Speeders are the only birdies approved for official tournaments. When playing, the balls creates a whistle noise due to their speed, which increases the fun.
Get and stay in shape
Playing Speedminton trains the whole body, the cardiovascular system and the hand-eye coordination. You can burn up to 700 calories per hour while having fun.
How to play
The court - The court consists of two squares, each with a size of 18 x 18 feet. Speedminton is played without a net. The squares are set up in a distance of 42 feet.
Service - each point starts with an underhand serve (one serve per point). Players change serve every 3 points (switch every point if a score of 15:15 is reached).
How to score - one point is obtained(won) when the Speeder(birdie) touches the ground within the opposite square, If the Speeder hits the ground outside of the opposite square it's a point for the opponent.
Counting - Speedminton sets are played until one player reaches 16 points (need to lead by two points). A player needs to win two sets to win a game. Change sides after each set.

Grandchildren will love this. I tried it out myself before Christmas gifting. The birdies are strong. I bought extra birdies in case they’re lost in treetops.

We received these today and played with them for over an hour. The racquets are light weight and the strings are a nice tension giving the birdie a nice bounce. My 6 year old, who has never played before, got the hang of it decently quickly and was able to return the birdie several times. The racquet is a good size for him. The birdies are smaller than what I'm used to but that doesn't interfere with the gameplay and they are decently easy to aim. My husband and I haven't played badminton in atleast 8 years and we were immediately able to get several good volleys going (I think 20 times was our max). 5 stars and I would definitely recommend.

Un producto de bastante calidad, buen tamaño, buenos materiales a un precio bastante bueno. A mi hijo de 8 años le encanto y es con lo único que se entretiene mas allá de sus videojuegos, lo recomiendo ampliamente para cualquier edad ya que mi esposa y yo podemos jugar y no se siente para nada un "Junior Set" no soy un experto en badminton pero creo que el nombre va por que son un poco mas anchas de lo normal.

My 6 year old loves playing Speedminton, but he struggled a bit swinging the larger racquet. He loves the Jr racquet and has been hitting the birdie better and more consistently.
