I bought these with a very specific use in mind. They will work just fine. Having said that, be prepared to soak the linkage very well in oil. These were very stiff right out of the package and difficult to move the pliers. Used WD40 and worked the linkage for a while, followed up by a quality oil. Smoothed out pretty good and now I can use them one handed through almost all the range of motion of the linkage. Would have been a 5 star had I not had to spend a half an hour getting the linkage acceptable, but, like I said...just remember the price.

These are quite well made. I needed long pliers/tongs to remove small items from the heat treat oven and they worked like a champ. The edges are fairly sharp but that's easily solved.

These are great for getting to those pesky hoses hidden behind lots of stuff on my UTV and snowmobile. The double pivots allow for wide open jaws in small, narrow spaces. Must have for that DIY mech, professional mech, or just for around the house use. As I always tell my wife, "You can never have too many tools!"

I was looking for a cutting tool to snip wires while working on vintage radios and this fit the bill. It works great in the tight spaces the vacuum tube radios have.

Perfect for all my fishing needs. Main thing is, if you use braided line as I often do, many scissors and cutters will not work. These cut braided well!! Worth it, so much so, I bought 3 pairs.

Only had these for a little while, tried them out on zip ties worked great. Mainly bought for their length to get into tight areas.
