I needed these for my e-flite A10 warthog micro jet.. unless they are spektrum branded batteries no other lipos come with these connectors.. so they are required in order to solder up some decent leads for the amp draw these planes require from their batteries.

Pretty disappointed with now having to double my purchase to get 5 working connectors… More than likely every IC2 will be removed from all my gear and replaced with XT30 which I have on hand… These IC2 are insanely expensive when you have to buy twice to get a complete connector….

Great connectors - make sure you use the appropriate gauge wire, snaps together and works like a charm. I used them to make an XT30- IC2 adapter cable for my LiPos to use with my Spektrum esc in my planes..

So, is Horizon Hobby gonna start offering SMART telemetry for IC2 style batteries and devices? If so, then you'll need these babies to make your own cables, etc, ...and let me tell you, they're a tricky little thing to solder up (especially if your gonna include putting the little grey center telemetry wire on). well, I did it... I have nothing that supports it (yet)... but you know... SCIENCE!
