Bought this to use with my Traxxas TRX4 Sport with the snow Traxx Kit. I added a snow plow and needed the third channel. This is bound right out of the box and works perfectly.Note: Traxxas does everything they can to make you buy their proprietary components. If using this on a Traxxas you will have to shave the tab off each wire terminal to plug them into this reciever. If youre using it on any others such Axial or Arrma its direct plug and play. I definitely recommend this as a replacement.

This is my third one and always works well with many controller adjustments. Plus it has aux port for accessories. Also the price is fair. The only knock is the antenna wire needs to be longer in my opinion.

This was a great upgrade for my 16 year old 8-AA Original Traxxas T-Maxx receiver & transmitter. Easy to install and now the thumb switch connects to my reverse and works quick. Great upgrade for any outdated RC.
