This plate is awesome. Very thick aluminum and good size. I had to drill holes to fit my 3hp makita router but it works amazing.

This is a high quality router base. The materials look and feel good. Machined to excellent tolerances and surfaces. I like that they included a dust collection shroud. My other router base didn’t come with one! This will just drop into a router table, or you can use your router to make your own!

I had a problem with fitting the plate to my router. The screw holes would not line up, even though the instruction said it would fit my porter cable router model 890. Not sure what happened in the manufacturing but this one wouldn’t work with my router.

Love this insert. All aluminum construction for durability and light weight. Simple enough to set up. Just trace and use router or chisel to inlet into the top of your choice. Accepts most popular routers. Three different center rings allows a wide variety of bits. Comes with fully adjustable dust gate/collection chute to allow for effective debris collection. Add your own fence and you now have a router table at a fraction of the cost of purchasing one.

First, this is good router insert system. I took one star off, because some of the material was not strong enough for the force that a router produces. I took off two more stars based on this unit had to be a return based on one router plate was laying in the box not packed like the other two plates and some of the pieces were already assembly. And most important is Picture #4 the "t Nut" that holds the dust collection on the plate came striped. Because of the condition of this piece it render the dust collection useless. In (picture #5) you can see how the hold down cannot secure the dust collector (note the angle of the orange piece). Also in Pic. #6 a screw was missing that holds on of the sides of the dust collector. There were also a few other pieces that were laying around. As I wrote earlier this is a nice unit. The plate fit perfect on my Incra table (pic.#4 in background) the bolt pattern for my PC 690 I used a "D Handle" (Pic. #7&8) and it fit perfect too. The system came with various sizes of bolts to fit different router including my PC. The magnetic plate stuck really well and you had to use the accompany tool to pull them free from the plate. For the dust collector port (#5) I use a 2" coupler and it was a perfect fit to my vac system.
