Awesome product in theory but when put to use it does not hold up. Had it for about a month before it fell apart. Wish they made it in higher quality. Does not hold up and I only road bike. Think the vibration of not very well paved roads shook it apart. Don’t recommend.

Used for first time today and went well. Transferred my phone from a portfolio case to the Spigen case with mounting attachment. The mounting of the bracket to the handlebar was simple with a couple screws and the supplied rubber spacer.Mounting the phone was a simple twist and lock into place on the bicycle. The unit holds firmly in place and is unlocked with a quick press of the lever. I look forward to using this mount more once the winter weather moves on out for the year. The ride was a bit cool and short today.

I've waited over a year before reviewing this. it was a year+ ago that I came across this mount. I had many plastic ones in the past, all broken. I've used those rubber ones, they flop. I almost went with an aluminum holder, but the way it sticks UP, i didn't want that. I read reviews long ago, and some were claiming it wobbled, it was cheap, it broke etc etc. which really made me not consider it. But i decided to go for it. I mounted it to my handlebars. the design is perfect if you have a sondors fat bike. it fits perfect over the throttle lights! Its also nice to not have my phone in a jersey pocket. I also 3d printed a mount for the wall at work, so i can lock it in place, while at work. the only problem i've had was the screw in the middle coming loose. I've had to tighten it 3 times during my purchase. But, part of that is my laziness, as I keep forgetting to put locktite on the threads (dont get locktite on plastic!!). the phone will not wobble if you keep the screw tight. you can tell when it is loose, cause your phone will wobble and sometimes will mislock on the mount. i did put the mount on my otterbox, and it hasn't come undone. I did clean it good prior, put it on, then used a clamp on it overnight.**Update** still love it, but saddened to find out you can't get the phone mount anymore.. I have 2 phones now, would love to order another mount for the phone, but no longer available and the company pretty much said the same. good luck finding one. buying another handlebar kit seems like a waste of money.

I've had this mount for nearly a year now. I was happy enough that I have installed the same system on all three of my motorcycles. It is sturdy and stable and I have had no troubles. I made sure I had a back-up strap to catch my phone should the arm break, but that is just good practice for anything fragile. I would do the same if I was using one of the more expensive brands. I never trust tape mounts, so I sewed my adapter to the back of the case and it holds great. I have been very pleased and at a fraction of the cost of the competitors.

I like the way it secures the phone. Went cycling and lost a water bottle but the phone remained on the handlebar. Great product!

UPDATE (10/23/2022): I previously reported that I was disappointed with the Spigen out front bike phone mount because it failed after less than one week. Specifically, the plastic around the mounting screw cracked as I was re-attaching the phone mount to the handlebars of my mountain bike (see attached photos). I had previously attached the phone mount to my handlebars (for the first time) with no problem. When I initially attached the phone mount to my bike, I used a low-strength threadlocker because I was concerned vibration from trail riding might cause the mounting screw to become loose. I used a low-strength threadlocker for the initial install because that was all I had on hand. Five days later, I purchased some blue, semi-permanent threadlocker. It was after I removed the phone mount and applied the blue, semi-permanent threadlocker that the plastic around the mounting screw cracked while I was reinstalling the phone mount.I have since done some research and learned that threadlocker products, like Loctite, that contain methacrylic ester and cumene hydroperoxide do not play nice with plastic. I read numerous reports that threadlocker eats into the plastic, making it brittle. In fact, the Technical Data Sheet for Loctite Blue 242 Threadlocker expressly states: "Not for use on plastic parts, particularly thermoplastic materials where stress cracking of the plastic could result."I now believe it was the low-strength threadlocker that I applied to the mounting screw when I first installed the Spigen phone mount that caused the arm to crack while I was reinstalling the phone mount five days later. When I first installed the phone mount, there was some excess threadlocker pooled around the head of the mounting screw. I attempted to wipe the excess threadlocker off, but wasn't able to get all of it off because the mounting screw is recessed in the plastic. Significantly, it was the plastic around the head of the mounting screw -- exactly where the excess threadlocker had pooled -- that cracked while I was reinstalling the phone mount (see attached photos). I don't think that was a coincidence. I think the threadlocker that pooled around the head of the mounting screw during my initial installation made the plastic in that area weak and brittle, resulting in the stress cracking that occurred when I reinstalled the phone mount five days later.Within 24 hours of my contacting Spigen's customer service, Spigen agreed to send me a replacement phone mount at no cost, so I give Spigen's customer service a 5-star review. I received the replacement phone mount five days later, which I have installed without using threadlocker.I am upgrading my rating of the Spigen out front bike phone mount to 4 stars. Once installed, it is rock solid. My phone doesn't budge when riding, although I have only used the phone mount on paved roads and greenways at this point. My only concern is it's durability over the long haul. I am withholding the fifth star until I've used it longer.

Despite being plastic, I was very happy to feel the robustness of this mount as I opened it. Upon installing it on my bike, I was very surprised by the precision of the mounting surface. It secured so snuggly very little torque was required on the fastener to ensure a tight fit. I'm excited to see how it holds up under use
