I used this mount for a carbide 3d router on my SainSmart prover 4030xl. It works well and is solid. The main reason I got it is that other thicker mounts don't leave any room on the router housing for a dust boot. The product itself is fine, but it is more expensive than it should be IMO. Other than the niche product tax, 5 stars.

Sturdy and fits perfectly with my 1.5 kw spindle. The good this is the holes aligns with VS lot plates.

This fits the z-axis assembly, amazon B085H8QQ5V perfectly. I was assuming that I would have to drill out the plate on the z-axis to fit this, but when I test fit it, it bolted right up. Very satisfying! This comes with three different size screws. The long two are for the clamp itself, inserted from the front. The next shortest 4 are to attach the angle brackets to the clamp, and the shortest 4 are to attach the clamp to the z-axis plate. Dont get these mixed up, since if you use a long screw to attach to the plate it could come out the other side, and rub on something. Leave all the screws loose until you have all of them in, then square it up and tighten. All screw holes are correct according to the drawing in this listing, but I misunderstood how far the holes on the rear of the clamp are spaced. The screw holes are tapped well, and are very smooth. Once tightened down it is rock solid. Best of all, now I can use my Makita rt0701c router on my CNC, priceless.

The inside diameter of this item is listed as 71mm. Which is not true. The Dewalt router is 69mm and it does NOT fit. The inside diameter of this only 65mm. Nice construction. Anodized was chip. Assembled fine just doesn’t fit.
