When the old heads wear old, just replace them with this, it's not hard to do. Often we don't even use a wrench, just grip that nut tightly in your fist and give a twisty twist. No plastic needed, just a wooden handle, a rawhide head and a bit of steel, you're good to go. I use these for setting flagstones, stone masonry, and general smacking of things that need to be persuaded into place.
