These are a Christmas gift for my sister who has a very large collection of Spode. She will be very happy as over the years she has lost some of her smaller plates. So glad I could get them at Amazon because stores in my area are not carrying alot of Spode pieces anymore.

Older Spode was made in England while the newer pieces are made in China. Cannot tell a difference between the Spode we already have and these plates.
