Got this for my new e-bike and I'm appreciating the peace of mind this lock provides. I did not mount this on my bike since I just throw it in my basket but the coating on it is nice so that when I'm locking my bike it doesn't scratch the frame. When I was looking at bike locks it was either a cable or a u-lock and this is nice because it comes with both which allows me to better secure the bike. I hope the lock never gets a true test of it's strength but I'm happy to have it on my bike.

This bike U lock is a must-have for anyone serious about bike security! The 18mm shackle is incredibly sturdy and resistant to cutting or prying, giving me peace of mind when leaving my bike unattended. The included 6ft security cable is a great addition, allowing me to secure both my bike and accessories like wheels or helmets. The lock is easy to use, with a smooth key mechanism, and the compact design makes it convenient to carry while riding. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit heavy, but that’s a trade-off for the high level of security it provides. For the price, this lock offers excellent value and reliability.

have not used this bike lock yet, but I have had many other u-locks previously and this one feels very well made and very sturdy. Pro tip: put two drops of DRY (only dry) bike chain lube in the keyhole and wiggle it around to get it going. I will report back if there's any problems with this lock.

Ever since I've lost the key to my old Kryptonite, I've been using the smallest U-lock, mainly due to its light weight and ease of carrying. It is fine for locking my bike in the suburban gym, but I get wary if I have to use it in the city, especially given the fact that it could only fit over the thinnest bike racks. This lock seems to allow me to lock my bike unattended in the city, at least during daytime. It is heavy duty enough to prevent someone trying to hack away at it, at least in public. It is also of a decent size so I can lock it over larger bike racks and thick poles. It comes with a long cable so I can also lock the front wheel. Even though the cable seems decently thick, it feels very light weight, as if the bulk of its thickness is due to the plastic casing. The shackle of the u-lock is long enough that I could just as easy remove the front wheel via its quick release and lock it together with the frame/back wheel. The cable might come useful when locking multiple bikes up with one lock, which we have, but never had a need to lock them up yet. Just make sure you lock up the critical parts of the bike and route the cable through the less critical sections. The only negative is the keyhole does not have dust cover, either one integrated with the cylinder or a manual one.

This is a far better lock than I have been using. In all fairness, I also have the cheapest 10-speed legally sold in the nation, probably, though it works fine for my use. However, I have my eye on getting my old thighs an e-bike soon, and I'm going to want something a good deal more sturdy to hook it to things. This is that lock.Of course, these days with lithium metal saws and angle grinders, anyone with privacy and/or pugnacity can cut a lock off, but one like this should slow them down a lot, and I don't think bolt cutters would do the trick.Very attractive, and it has a soft coating that presumably won't mar the expensive cheating lithium bike I choose. Hey, I live in a hilly neighborhood.It works just fine on my existing bike, and at the $25 price as of this review is a solid deal as well as a solid lock. I think the look of the thing would discourage casual thieves wanting to try boosting an e-bike.So this great lock is overkill for my existing bike - and for that reason I haven't installed the included locking-strap to carry it, though it's well-designed and sturdy in its own right, and is a bonus that my past locks haven't come with. I may well find additional non-bike uses for it, like when my emergency generator is running. People jump the fences here and snag those... but not with this on it, I'm thinking.Quite happy with this smooth and sturdy lock.

The U bike lock is solid and feels heavy-duty. It has a sturdy build and seems like it would require considerable effort to break or cut. It comes with three keys, which is convenient since there are two spares.The lock includes a mount for attaching it to a bike frame, but I don’t use it. I keep the lock in my backpack or vehicle instead.Overall, it works as expected and seems reliable. This is a high quality, sturdy lock for a pretty decent price.
