I read all the poor reviews prior to ordering but have a need for some of these. I figured I could do some adapting to these if necessary or use a larger drill size than my original design. Well, the over size pin was corrected and is within 0.002 inches of the posted size, the keeper ring is a standard duty key ring and fits the hole in the pin as it should plus it is as easy to take apart as removing a key from its' key ring. The thread size is true 1/2-13 and has a smooth running fit. Machine quality is very acceptable. I may be buying more in the future because the price is very fare. I give these 5 stars.

Great fit for Milwaukee tool box, easy to install them, and strong , more than strong enough to hold the handle. The one thing i would of like it to have is a lock position when you pulled the pin out , since it is 2 pins it is kind of hard to hold both at the same time and pull the handle out oh the box.

Prices fluctuate regularly and I always recommend shopping around and comparing what’s available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy.I picked up a three-pack of these Stainless steel HYGMPDAS Spring Plungers to install as part of a custom project I’m working on that requires being able to adjust the height and angle of some 2x2 inch square tube. The spring tension is good, and the material seems like good quality (better than I’d expected).They do exactly what they’re supposed to do and I’m happy with the quality and functionality. They exceeded my expectations.5 stars.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. Very poor quality, functionality, or other issues.2 Stars: Do not buy. There are several small issues with these spring pins. For one, the pin is not 5/16" in diameter. It is 8mm, which is .020" oversized. In my pictures I show a good example as well as the one I received. This won't be an issue for some, but for my application the pin is too large.Second, the entire assembly is held together by the cheap split ring that bent the second I started using them. This would be fine to just swap out with better ones, but the hole is not even big enough for the ring to spin through out of the box let alone fit a better one. In my pictures, I show a nice one that is held in pace by a shoulder on the pin vs this product. Notice the size difference in the ring hole. If the ring breaks on these, it will come apart.The hex shoulder is fairly tall. Not a big deal, but if you're using them in a tight space it could be less than desirable.As for the build quality, all the metal is nice and well machined.
