Thought this would be one or two solid boards. It is not, it is wood planks wrapped in durable fabric. Seems to do the job but was hoping for a truly solid platform under a softer mattress.

I never write reviews but this is the most logical place to rave about this bunkie board. I just slid it between the traditional box spring and mattress of a fair quality twin bed. I'm laying on it right now and my back hasn't felt this good in years! I'm getting two more to put under the king size in our master bedroom.The sizing is perfect. It's not sliding around. I highly recommended this board if you're looking for great back support.

Great foundation, works perfectly under my queen size foam mattress. I noticed a slight dip in the mattress, which shouldn't occur yet as it is less than a year old. I have an IKEA platform bed with slats. After much research, I found multiple suggestions to use a foundation on top of my slats for better support to sleeping, and for longevity of the mattress. Since adding this to our bed, our mattress is back to the comfort and support level as when we bought it. Problem solved!
