Worked as expected but with a little effort they can be bent if putting too much pressure on them.

Used these to scrape old carpet underlay. It definitely kicks hard when you catch an errant nail or high spot - but does make quick work of the job. That said, they are fragile - I had the large and the medium sizes snap off at the point where they meet the sawzall after about an hour of use each. Definitely worth it - but realize you might need to buy two sets.

The generic ones listed on Amazon are nearly half the price and are notably stronger.I broke through 2 sets of these in a few hours before trying the cheaper kind. You don't always get what you pay for.

I ordered this to help me tear out some nasty old carpet in a 180ish sqft sunroom. The carpet was the old cheapo kind with the padding attached, and it was glued down to the floor. I was expecting a total nightmare of a time getting it out, but the 6" scraper made what I thought would literally take all day into a 1 hour project that only required a helper to lift and pull the carpet as I cleared the padding underneath. I may never need to use again it myself, but it's already paid for itself many times over with the amount of headache it's spared me.

Someone else said this is not an air chisel.Bingo! I used these to remove mastic and ~50yr old composite flooring material from hardwood and plywood substrates with my PC reciprocating saw. Tile gone easily even wherein was two layersthick.m, mastic mostly gone but as good as I can expect from this type of tool. Yes I broke two of the three blades but I ran them for about 5 hours each. That is a lot of stress on this type blade material...these are ment to be disposable. I like the idea of reshaping the shaft to extend the useful life. Using on very coarse substrate like damaged or broomed concrete is not advisable.

Total failure. I used the 2" to attempt to remove thin-set. The first problem is that the blade is way too thin to handle this kind of material. The second you encounter well-glued cement, the blade will bend. The second problem associated with the thickness of the blade is that it get hot and then it easily breaks. the third problems are that the blade will not stay sharp long enough to complete your task. the 2" blade broke after less than 10 minutes trying to remove the thin-set.I tried to remove a ceramic tile and the blade is just not strong enough to break the tile. I still have the 4" and 6" blade that would do good to remove wallpaper. Other than that, they are a complete failure.I don't know if this is too late to get my money back but if it is, would wish that Amazon would stop advertising these blade as the commercial is 100% false advertisement.

This is a good tool to use to get old flooring up. The blade will break though so an extra set is recommended

I used these to remove rubber/adhesive from carpet squares in my basement. I tore out the squares and went to work with these blades in my reciprocating saw. They stay sharp even being used on the cement floor but they snap at the insert into the saw pretty quickly even after letting them cool a bit. I think the issue is that the blade stays cool but at the mount location that saw part of it that holds the blade gets very hot and with it vibrating back and forth on the concrete floor it makes them break easily. It's a shame because there was so much more life left in the blade itself.Watch how you hold the saw because if you put it at too much of angle at the side with the back end of the saw up too high it kicks back on you and will get your attention plus it can chip the concrete a little. Also, don't press too hard on the saw at a downward angle as that will help to snap it more easily. I was taking a break for 30 seconds after running it for a minute to try and help with the blades snapping...not sure if it helped though.
