This works but is wide and sticks off the door face so the pocket door doesn’t fully return into the wall. Id rather it was flush with the door and fully hidden when open.

You will need a little more effort to turn the lock, but it works great now that it is in.

The lock itself is fine, but when the door is open/in the pocket, there is nothing with which to pull the door out of the pocket to close it. The lock does not include a handle, so we have to close it by pulling on the top of the door to get it out of the pocket.

This pocket door lockset does what it is supposed to do! If you can install a standard lockset then you can install this one. Drill a couple holes, chisel in the striker and move on to the next project. Only problem is that it doesn’t come with a finger pull! How do you pull the door out when it is fully open? I had to buy one seperately.

Pretty easy to to install if you have the right tools. My mortise turned out sloppy but nothing to do with the knob. It looks good, functions smoothly, and stays locked in. I like these styles more than the traditional pocket door locks, where you cut a big chunk out of the door. These offer a nice wide latch instead of a thumb size knob
