Actually sounds good but very low quality feel about it and severe neck dive and body slip if sat down. The body is just so lightweight

Great feel and sound.. Going to mod to aesthetic taste but great out the box.

This little bass sounds awesome, light and bright only bad thing it neck dives but apart from that lovely bass

I’ve been playing bass since the 70’s and bought this little Squier because it was on sale for less than $200 (it had a chip in the finish). Wow! I love this little thing! I had big plans to mod it with pickups, tuners, and bridge, but I ended up keeping it 100% stock. I feels great out of the box and has the undefinable “feel” of a quality instrument. I guess Squier really HAS upped their game! On it’s own it’s fairly muddy, but with some liberally applied EQ it turns in to a snarling monster. Kind of a John Entwistle vibe. Guaranteed to annoy your guitar player. Wasn’t sure about the “medium scale”, but it turns out to be fine. I usually have trouble with short scale basses. Highly recommended.

Arrived well packaged and in perfect brand-new condition. Was fully set up and ready to play out of the box. The neck is straight, frets have no sharp edges, and the medium scale length is incredibly comfortable. The humbucker sounds great, but is definitely pretty dark sounding. Works very well for heavy stuff.

I ordered this from Cosmo Music and it arrived really well set up out of the box and was somehow even still in near perfect tune. The bass itself is fairly bare bones, simple plain maple neck/fretboard with no satin or gloss finish. The frets feel mostly fine, a hair sharp higher up the next but shouldn't be much of an issue. The offset humbucker pickup doesn't offer much in terms of different sounds but it's very mid-punchy and pairs really great with my Helix LT set up. The tone knob offers a little bit of different tonage but as a guitarist playing the bass, this is enough for me!Also, this could be a very great framework for a mod project. There is a bit of neck dive, but the entire thing weighs less than my Les Paul sooo, I'm not complaining. Just wear a strap with it and it seems to disappear.
