I just rebuilt a pair of SRAM Guide RSC levers and these pistons worked great. It took a bit of effort to get the seals on the pistons but that was the only thing that required a little effort. Not the easiest thing to rebuild on a bike but not the hardest either, there are a couple good videos on YT that walk you through the process.

Perfect replacement for the (cheap-ish) original parts. O-rings are not preinstalled and asymmetrical so their direction when installing is important. If you keep an eye on that you will have better brakes than you had before.

My SRAM Guide RS brakes suffered badly from heat-lockup. I finally decided to remedy the situation by rebuilding the levers with these internals. I am knocking off a star mostly because there was zero instructions on how to install the seals, and in which direction. YouTube videos were needed to complete the lever disassembly and install... including determining which way the seals go. I used SRAM DOT grease and a plastic pick to popped them on without too much effort. While I cannot confirm the material composition, I highly doubt for the price that these are titanium alloy...

Used to replace a stuck piston on my SRAM Guide Ultimate lever. Worked great. Disassemble first to check which size piston you need.

Made my NOS(new takeoff) lever feel smooth as new(new new?) from a rough pull feel with slow sticky return, thanks to the famous Sram design fail. I suspect some negative reviewers didn't install seals in correct direction. Look at pics or find an install vid.I couldn't believe these are titanium for such low price. I now do. They're non-magnetic and weigh less than steel, more than aluminum, like titanium does. And they have a titanium color. Being titanium, they will outlast your master cylinder and the next and the next and the next...

1. The titanium pistons were a great replacement for the plastic originals. Hopefully they last longer. It's the rubber seals that eventually degrade and cause the piston to bind. Note the orientation of the rubber seals on the removed original piston before installing the new rubber seals on the titanium piston. There is also a small diameter and a large diameter seal, which correspond to a small diameter and large diameter spot on the new piston. Look closely before installing.2. I went through a bunch of different snap ring pliers to find one that would work in the tiny space of the lever body. This was the most time consuming part of the job. The tip of the IRWIN VISE-GRIP Convertible Snap Ring Pliers, 6-1/2-Inch (2078900) used without the included handle but with a pair of common channel locks to actuate the tip worked the best. Once I had the technique down and the right tool for the job, it was simple and relatively quick to rebuild the second lever. About 40 minutes for the second lever. Note: there is a review that mentions using a Toolwiz Snap Ring Plier. This does NOT work, it's too bulky.3. Use a small ziplock to keep track of the parts. They're tiny. Don't forget the loctite threadlocker on the grub screw and lever screw.4. Plan on a new set of brake pads, if you want the brakes to feel brand new. You may also want to order new retainer clips for the caliper pin. Mine were missing.5. Take your time bleeding the brakes. I used Motul - 100951 Brake Fluid, DOT 5.1 (N-S) and a bleed kit from Cyceearth - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GVH2BXM

Thes do not come with seals installed, or directions which way the flare goes on.I tried to replicate the photo, but the seals are so tight they rolled inside out and the flare ended up in the incorrect orientation.I cannot get the seals back off to try again. Will see if it still works corecttly as it is.
