Typically these are sold as a complete set with 2 pieces shrink wrapped on red cardboard stock.This "4 pack" is not 4 complete links. Rather it's 4 separate pieces or 2 complete links. I'd be ok with it if the price was closer to $10 instead of double retail price.

I carry spares and a chain breaker. I have not had a clip break. Have had the chain break, hence , the need for spares. Also, of course, when you need to re-fasten the chain.
