SRAM CASSETTE

1

CASSETTE PG1170

Semi-spidered design. SRAM has maintained a high level of shifting performance while creating a much quieter cassette/chain combination. Heat treated steel sprocket with 7000 series alloy lockring.

2

CASSETTE SRAM XG1090 RED

Lighter, stiffer, and quieter. Hollow machined steel cluster and outer machined alloy cog make this lighter and stiffer than a titanium cassette. Elastomers and special tooth profiling eliminates vibration and noise when the chain engages the cogs while maintaining lossless power transfer

3

CASSETTE XG1080

Uses lightweight stamped steel cogs and a single aluminum innermost cog that are all connected using high strength steel pins for a fast shift.

4

CASSETTE XG-1150

FULL PINª technology uses eleven lightweight, stamped steel cogs held together with 123 high-strength stainless steel pins. The result: a cassette that's light, durable and equipped with SRAM's super wide 10-42 gear range that's a perfect fit for any ride.

Swapped a shimano hg700 11 with this. In the poconos you can use a 38 for the grades. Excellent. Had to remove a 1.5mm shim from the ultegra hub.

I'm using this with Shimano Ultegra and works great for climbing allowing me to stay seated and spin in most cases where I had to stand before with 11-30. This is beyond spec for Ultegra, but with the b tension adjusted to clear the large cog and getting the chain length just right the only thing I find is it is a little slow getting into the 11 tooth cog if you don't soft pedal it. For me that's only on descents or with strong tail winds, so not really a problem. All other shifts are crisp.

No need to say anything about this Cassette. It works, it lasts, it has no faults. Sarm is quality.Shimano does not make an 11-36 for use with their Ultagra groupo. I tried the Sram 1170 11-36 and it works perfectly.

Arrived early. Easy to fit and works great. Lighter than the old cassette and better gearing for road riding, on the gravel bike.

I couldn't find an 11-34 cassette to purchase anywhere so I got this SRAM 11-36. The chain was replaced because it needed another link or 2 to accommodate the 36 cog and made a small adjustment to b-screw then I was in business. No issues shifting on/off the big cog. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Force quality cassette. I use this on my 2x Shimano GRX gravel bike. Shimano says 34t is the largest you can go with the medium cage GRX derailleur but I’ve had no issue getting this 36t to work. It’s the standard Shimano road bike spline system, and fits 10 and 11 speed hubs. Shifts well, and looks like it will last awhile. I paired it with a SRAM chain and a Quarq front crank for pretty much spot on shifting. The 11-36 combined with a 2x in 46-34 gives me a serious gravel climbing gear and better range than a 1x.

I bought this to have a lower gear on my gravel bike, a diverge comp with 48-32 Praxis cranks and and long cage ultegra rear derailleur with a 11-34 shimano cassette. Nominally those cranks and the derailleur are at the maximum range of rear derailleur (34 tooth) and also chain uptake capacity according to Shimano. However, I was able to install this without modifying the chain length (ie. without adding two links to accommodate the extra two teeth) or doing any other adjusting. The derailleur handles the expanded 48-36 length just fine despite being 2 teeth too many in the official specs and the chain shifts fine onto the 36 tooth sprocket. One pro tip: the 11-34 cassette comes with a spacer that goes between the hub and the the largest cassette sprockets. If you look closely, you will see that the cassette is dished and the spacer removes that dish. The SRAM cassette is not dished and does not need the spacer. Also, take care when installing the lock ring. Make sure that the cassette is installed without ANY dust/grit between the sprockets and that the lock ring fully engages with the threads on the hub body. It is easy to think the threads are engaged when they are not and strip the lock ring. Have fun and enjoy your new 5% lower gear. Bonus is that Gear #2 is also lower than previously and is also a nice climbing gear.

Too early to comment on durability. However fit was easy and shifting is great.
