Bottom bracket "standards" should make more sense --- but that's not news to anyone who's worked on bikes even a little bit, of course. If your bike has the oddball bottom bracket "standard" (apparently SRAM-specific?) this thing is made for, it'll fit. My bike's manufacturer claims it's "100x37 BSA English Threaded", but that wasn't very helpful in hunting this down, and i suspect it may even be wrong. The key seems to be that some SRAM MTB cranksets have what's effectively a tapered or stepped crankshaft, the left-side end with the spline is a bit narrower; that's what this thing is made to fit. This one seems a lot better made than the no-name one my fatbike originally came with. The bearing cassettes seem to be better sealed, at least. If it lasts the winter, i'll update the review once i take a look at it at the end of the winter riding season.Oh, and just like another reviewer noted, mine too showed up in black, not grey or silver. That works for me, but if you really want a grey one, you may be out of luck.

Surely you won’t spend more than $50 on a bottom bracket to fit your GXP crank. I bought this one to replace my old one and it’s doing it’s job. Even the product description shows it as being gray It came out to be black which suited me better.

Its not like I have alot of choices its the only one that fits my bike. My bike came with this one from the factory. At 16,000 miles Im on my third one and am happy with that

Wasn't the right length for my 2013 Whyte t129 SCR so had to use the existing tube but the two outer bearing houses are spot on.

Work perfectly for a replacement bearing. I needed it for my narrower bottom bracket, so I reused my narrower tube and used the bearings.

Just like others have mentioned, the drive side bearing seal came apart, started creaking and now the bearings are shot. A known issue with this particular bottom bracket. Spend more and get something that will last longer. I'm replacing it with a Hope FatSno 100mm next and hope to get more mileage out of it. Staying away from SRAM bottom brackets.

It was not stated in the description that the non-drive side of the BB is for a small spindle diameter...therefore only compatible with SRAM cranks.
