Really need this for working on a 4L80e because regular transmission stand doesn't fit a 4L80 that well because one of the mounting points on the side is offset a little.

Already had trans mount for 4L60E. Did not want to have to buy Another expensive mount for my 4L80E project. Bought this tiny piece of aluminum. It looks fragile, but it's not. Worked great.
