I bought these for an art class. They work great. Erases well. TIP: If you erase with it a lot and it get lead on it, it comes of easily if you erase on a piece if blank white paper.

Since having an art teacher as a father, and being interested in drawing, architecture, and drafting, my experiences with the Staedtler-Mars white eraser - and many, many other erasers - have been extensive.This is the best eraser for pencil/graphite on the market, and I am also happy to report that their website has a section dedicated to sustainable measures they take to care for our Earth.

My favorite eraser! I can usually get rid of anything without destroying my paper or leaving a mark behind and I make a lot of mistakes as a new artist who is teaching herself. I recently purchase a pack for my son to use with his drawings and he thought i was silly raving about an eraser until he used it. :)

Love these erasers. They have been my favorite since forever. They give a nice clean erase. I love that it erasers color pencil and sketching pencil. Great tool for artists and everyday office use.

I have been using these erasers since even before going to art school over 20 years ago. These are a no brainer - they don't leave marks and are just good erasers. Do their job. Bought these for our niece in a collection of art supplies for Christmas.

These erasers are perfect for drawing on very light papers as they do not smudge, and they do their job removing line marks well. I have been using this brand of eraser for years, and will continue to do so.

I lost my eraser and decided to just order this while buying something else. The erasers are great, no question - I've been using Staedtler erasers for over 15 years, because they are simply the best (thus the 5 stars). However, this is worth the trip to a Target or Staples - the price from this seller was more than I've ever paid for these.
