I have light duty lighting trees and trusses that I use for my band. They're aluminum tube, and easily dented if not careful. My lights and fixtures are all LED, and not heavy. These clamps work great since they grip the tubing all the way around, with equal pressure around the tube. The other popular lighting clamp actually clamps down on your light bar or lighting truss, which can damage the light duty rigging. Those heavy clamps are made for pro-level lighting trusses and bars, which are heavy gauge metal. This clamps are just like my other clamps that use, and they work great, with adapters to fit narrow as well as wider (up to 2") pipe.

These Stage Light Clamps matched a previous purchase well and performed flawlessly with a new light setup. They grip well and support larger fixtures; moving heads and beams, without any issues. They do everything they’re designed to do. They fit my existing hardware like a glove.

I have several par lights that I didn't want to waste floor space on using a light stand for. These allow me to either attach to existing stands or to a portable backdrop stand. Good grip and simple to use, it holds the (not heavy) LED par lights with no problems. I needed to add these to my kit and so was fortunate when I had the opportunity to order for the purpose of reviewing (without the vendor knowing).
