I like to use food bowls that require that my guinea pigs need to reach up to access their food for a little extra stretch and exercise, though it somehow doesn't stop them from replacing the food pellets with poops. I don't know if anyone else's pigs even do that. It's very nice quality and I have no concern that it'll break or rust, very happy.

I use this for my dog and it’s very convenient. The ring does stay when you take the bowl out, but the bowl comes out of the top so no spilling when you try to get it out.

The bowls are nice as they are easy to remove with the wing nut on the out side. No zip ties or anything that requires replacing. My dog likes to chew, but these have survived multiple long flights! Only draw back is that there is nothing to secure the bowls in to the rings, they just sit there. So if your dog is like mine, and likes to play with things you may have to fish them out of the crate when you get where you are going.

I have a dog crate that is also a side table and it has diamond shaped holes in the metal sides and this fits perfectly in them. Somehow my dog still manages to get water all over but since the crate has a removable plastic shelf under the bottom of it, it is no problem. I am sure it is the fault of my crazy dog and not the product!

I breed mice for my reptiles and literally every day I used to have to unearth food dishes from the depths of the substrate. I keep the bedding deep enough for the mice to tunnel, and they love to tunnel under (and spill) their food dish. No more! Now they can tunnel as much as they like with no risk of spilling the food. The dishes themselves are very sturdy, and even with only one bolt to connect to the outside of the enclosure. They come with wide mounting plates to help distribute the weight across more of the enclosure wall and it works quite well. My enclosures are converted plastic tubs from Target and so far I've seen 4 adult mice all crammed onto one and it was not sagging/drooping at all.I'll probably end up needing more of these - they are super convenient and the mice seem to love them.

Daisy can have her food when she wants when I'm not home. I placed it very close to the edge so it fits tight that she can't tip it from underneath.
