For clarity, This is best described as an eggbutt snaffle bit. 4.5 to 5 inches in the mouth. (See photo). The seller posted some photos of this, plus a photo of a different bit on a horse. As with all horses and bits, use the least aggressive bit, needed for safety and the style of riding you do. This is a very adequate bit and i am pleased, especially with the under-twenty eight range. (We can't list prices, as they change often). It should be fine for dressage classes, beginners and other types of riding.
