I have a 30” cooktop however after purchasing the 30” advertised cover it didn’t fit correctly. The 36” worked great with complete coverage. The time consuming thing was removing the protective layer otherwise I would have given the product 5 stars. So far so good.

We decided to cover our gas stove in favor of induction hot plates (to reduce gas burning chemicals in the air). This stove cover is exactly what we needed as it covers the burners but allows us to place the induction hot plates on top. This cover is very durable and matches our stainless appliances.

My stove is 30" wide, and this fit perfectly side to side and back to front. The actual width of the cover is 29.5" wide, though the bottom edges for the rubber edge protector are about 1/2" each side. My burners grates are 29" wide. I found the simplest was to get this over the burner grates was to move the side grates in slightly and set the middle grate on top of them. The height of the cover is high enough to do this (at least for the grates on my stove). This method was much simpler then to try to get the grates on top of the edge of the stove top cover. To do that, I would have had to have the open end of the cover towards the front of the stove.I noticed in some other reviews, comments about this not being stainless steel. There was a magnet included with the packaging, though this is misleading. The magnet does not actually stick to this cover. Though that does not mean this is not stainless steel. There are different kinds of stainless steel, and magnets do not stick to some kinds of stainless steel - it depends on what metals were used in the manufacturing process.Regarding removing the protective covering that is on the cover for packaging/shipping purposes: Yes, it is not real easy to remove - if it came off easy, it would not be much of a protection film.Tips for removing: once you get an edge loosened, slowly pull away from the loosened edge, though grip the film as close to the cover as possible. I loosened the film on all the sides first, then I did the top, working from each edge. The film may tear if there is too much extra film between where you are holding to the unloosened film on the cover.I also noticed that the instructions mentioned to cut the film around the plastic handles. There was a set of extra plastic handles in the box - when I seen these, I realized that the handles just snap together. I carefully removed the handles on the cover, so I could fully remove the protective film under the handles. This was probably quicker to do then cutting around the handles. NOTE: The handles need to be pried apart very carefully so the plastic clips do not break. Since I had the spare set as a guide, I could see where the plastic clips would be and where I would need to pry apart with a flat edge.Others mentioned is took 20 minutes to remove the film, I didn't actually time it, but I don't think it took me that long.

Received this product well packaged and it was a better quality product than expected. I'm using it to cover an oustide range under a covered patio. I needed something that could keep the dust and spiders/wasps out of the range. This helps, but it has an opening on the back wall, so it is not fully enclosed. That is my biggest gripe on this product. It's fairly heavy and can be used as additional counterspace for lighter kitchen cookware. Just not sturdy enough for a roaster with a thanksgiving turkey in it.

A solid cooktop cover and beautifully finished in a textured black and a cushioned bottom to protect your cook top or countertop. It even came with an extra handle and cleaning cloths.

Wow how can you not like this protective cover. It not only looks great but covers the ugly burners and makes my kitchen look cleaner.I read some think it’s too light but i will tell you this is perfect! And magnets won’t stick so its really stainless steel. Unlike my stainless steel refrigerator that will hold a magnet! Its not super light nor too heavy. If you don’t like it then I don’t know what to say. I have had it on for 15 minutes and already wish I had another stove to put one onI purchased the black one as you can see by my pictures of the stove before tge top and afterwards. Yes it does add 3” on height over the frame of the stove but it still looks fantastic. The side had hand opening to easily remove the top. I might consider putting small rubber feet on the side so when I stand it uo it does not get scratched. It was a bit pricey but after receiving it Im more than happy with my purchase. It cleans up the kitchen area.Oh it comes with a seal to put around the edge that rests on the stove to protect both surfaces. Its easy to install and then trim off the excess. This really made me happy. Just take your time to push the U shaped strip and you can make a nice bend without cutting it.My store is 29 3/4” x 22”.I have nothing hanging over or on the back

Just got this today and put it on my oven. Sets there solidly and perfectly and looks great. Looks so much better than the stovetop. Great design. Good instructions and great service from the company, included cleaning cloths and extra handle. We'll see how it holds up to daily use but right now I love it.

Great quality stove cover! Ours does t make the sound that the video shows. It's smooth and sleek. When we first got it, it appeared to not fit. Then we realized the edges slide under the grates and slide on perfectly!

Not recommended since there is a lack of important information such as the measures. In reality it does not measure 36" since it has side lips that make it smaller and it is not possible to use it on 36" grills. The information of the measures is false and if you add that it is not a cheap product, it is a terrible purchase. In my case I had to modify the lid with a blacksmith to cut the side lips but in addition to the cost now the protections are apparent so losing the lousy aesthetic product
