I got these 9" stainless steel plates to replace the plastic plates my grandchildren eat from. The grandchildren love them because they are shiny, and they like that they can put the plates in the sink without worrying about the plates breaking. The benefits of plastic dishes are that they are unbreakable, and that is what I like about the stainless steel dishes. The stainless steel dishes don't break, and they don't leach microplastics into the food. These are a great solution until they are old enough to handle the stoneware dishes.

We got these to replace plastic plates for our kids. They look better and work just the same *outside of being microwave safe*We will be buying another set to have more!

I really like the look of these plates. They are decently sized but not overly large. Keep in mind that because they are metal you will feel the heat in them if you use them for hot foods and are holding the plates. It's not overbearing typically so it doesn't bother me, but keep that in mind if you are sensitive to heat, otherwise just only use them when sitting at the table. They are easy to clean and I like that when stacked they have a very low profile even when you have a all of them together.
