The only issues are that wire mesh is harder to clean than perforated metal; also occasionally when closing the 2 halves, I have the adjust it to meet perfectly and not overlap and gape.

I bought t2o and am very happy with them. Sometimes it's a little hard to close if you fill it with too much tea. I read other reviews that the screen corrodes where it is attached to the frame but so far that hasn't happened.

I really like this mesh ball. It clamps very tightly and my tea leaves stay in the ball not floating around in my cup. But because it clamps very tight, it is hard for me to open it wide enough to empty the used leaves and clean it (I have arthritis in my hands). It is well constructed.
