These are excellent for most shop cleaning tasks. I've found the bristles to to softer and more flexible than most, so they work very well as a carding brush. I have used these to clean bluing rust off of several projects that I have rust blued and they have done a good job. Plenty stiff to remove the thin coating of rust but not so stiff or sharp as to scratch the metal underneath. The handles are pretty short so they won't give you a lot of "reach" for some projects but they do give a good grip and don't flex like some cheap plastic ones.Very good deal for a multi use shop tool.

Personally, I find these slightly too small to be practical, and I have a M-L glove size. They are a decent quality, but the size negates whatever ergonomic efforts they've made. The same can be said about the length of the bristle, if they were just a little longer, then maybe holding it by the bristle head might make it practical, but as it stands, they are too short for that. Why the 4 stars? Well, I am a big fan of the "fine" feeling of these bristles; its not a wire wheels style of course bristle. So, I may not recommend this for scrubbing a grill, but I would find this useful for delicate tasks requiring a bit of accuracy; such as knocking some corrosion off an electrical connection or a course buffing of something you need a small bit of texture on.

I recently picked up the 2-Piece Wire Brush Set (Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel), and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my toolkit. Whether I’m cleaning rust, paint, or welding residue, these brushes handle tough jobs with ease. One of the things I love about these brushes is the dual material option—the carbon steel brush is great for aggressive cleaning, while the stainless steel brush works well on surfaces that need a bit more care. This versatility makes them perfect for a variety of tasks, from metal restoration to grill and tool maintenance. The rubber-covered handle is another big plus. It provides a comfortable, non-slip grip, which makes scrubbing less strenuous, especially during longer cleaning sessions. The brushes also feel sturdy and durable, meaning they won’t wear out after just a few uses.Overall, this is a high-quality, heavy-duty wire brush set that I’d recommend to anyone working on DIY projects, auto repairs, metalwork, or home maintenance. A great value for the price!

These wire brushes work really well for cleaning off thread tape. I had to replace a water heater gas valve that was about 10 years old, and it had old thread tape on it that had sealed itself to the pipe threads making it verydifficult to remove. When using these brushes, I was able to remove the pipe thread tape within about five minutes. The brushes are a petite size making them easy to store in a small tool bag, but they’re still large enough to where someone with medium size hands can grip them without accidentally dropping the brush, or scrubbing a part of the intended area that is dirty unintentionally. The steel bristles, are very coarse and do not bend very well, so they’re intended for heavy duty cleaning. I would not use these on anything that a fine cleaning is needed because they will mark the surface area. The brushes are made of plastic and steel and come in a two pack. These are great for any standard mechanics, tool bag, or just regular every day household use. I would order these again without any hesitation because they work really well for cleaning metal.

One of my battery terminals continues to accumulate a powdery residue that will eventually affect battery operation. This wire brush is compact enough for me to keep it in the glove box and clean the battery terminal while I am waiting at the gas station or somewhere else on the go. Whenever I think about cleaning the battery terminal, I can never find a brush so these are perfect. Very thick, long wire bristles that do a great job on the battery connections. Good grip on the handle. I keep one of these in the glove box and the other one in the garage. Nice sturdy wire brush.

These brushes were a bit smaller than I expected but they work great. The bristles are longer and more numerous than the small toothbrush size steel brushes. My only complaint about these brushes is the handle. The handle is pretty short so its somewhat difficult to grip. However, I won't hold this against them too much since these are semi-disposable brushes and the price is quite affordable. If you need some cheap wire brushes for welding or similar projects, these are a great option. They cost about as much as the toothbrush style ones but have a much larger surface area for brushing.

Review for Wire Brushes by Gegraterwa:I often use the typical toothbrush size steel brushes to clean various things around the house, but sometimes wish they were bigger so I searched and found these. I really like that it can clean bigger surface areas at a time. The only downside is the very short handle. I pretty much have to leave my pinky off when I'm gripping these and I can barely get 4 fingers on it. Other than that, the bristles are wide and taller than a regular brush. I've attached pictures for comparison.
