Love my Kitchenaid mixer, but the white coated dough hook that came with it was abject rubbish. 4 or 5 months of use and it had to go in the bin as it was cracking and peeling and I was left picking the bits out of my bread dough. Initially I replaced it with same hoping it was a one-off defect, but it wasn’t - same thing happened again. I’m guessing if you’re reading this, you’ve had the same thing happen to you.This stainless steel one is the fix - still perfect after 3 years of use. It is a bit more expensive but is actually the quality you expect from Kitchenaid - it should be what they supply with the machines.

Super consigliato. Dopo l'acquisto di un secondo gancio ,sempre in alluminio, ho optato per questa versione completamente inox. Almeno sono sicuro che non ho problemi di distacco della vernice come succede su quello in alluminio. Sono rimasto sorpreso dal peso e dalla robustezza del gancio confrontandolo con quello in alluminio. Consigliato
