I've used Standard products before and worked out great on my 1995 GMC Yukon 5.7L tbi Unfortunately this sensor/switch did not function as it should. On cold start it showed a good amount of Psi on my dash/gauge. Once it warmed up and during driving conditions at idle, the gauge would drop down to near 0 Psi. After reading some forums and Google searching I decided to return this product and go with the Genuine GM sensor. Now everything is back to normal and function as it should. Maybe my Yukon is picky or jus because it fits doesn't mean it's the correct part. My suggestion is.... do the job once and get the GM part and the correct socket to remove this part.

Installing a new crate motor we went with all new sensors an parts. I have used these parts from the same manufacturer for 30 years.

First unit was faulty and would drain the battery in the truck intermittently. This sensor is on an ECM power feed that is always energized. It would have a slight buzz or hiss when acting up, while drawing about .2A.Replacement worked fine.
