I'm sure this may fit some models just fine, but on my '89 f350 I had to trim about 1/4" off the end of the factory speedometer cable to get this to fit. The cable hole is just BARELY long enough to accommodate the length of the cable end, and it's about an inch shallower than the original Ford part. Without trimming the end down, the cable would bind up when you clipped it in. I also had to use a sanding disc to lightly grind down the edges of the cable, because lo and behold the cable hole is also slightly too small in diameter. Overall terrible design but I got it to work, and it functions fine now. Make sure the whole assembly spins smoothly by hand before inserting into your transmission or you may do some damage.The only reason this is two stars instead of one is because I tried other brands of this same part, and they too all had the exact same issue... so it's as good as any other, I guess.

If there was an option for zero stars that would be more appropriate. Installed this on my truck and within 1 hour of driving this piece of garbage broke. I highly do not recommend this speed sensor.

After installation the O-ring didn't seal properly. Other than that there's nothing else wrong with this product.

Would not fit,it was to long,and to fat! Went to auto zone and got the correct part.Have had bad experiences with getting the correct parts for my truck from there.2 bad starters,now a bad speed sensor..

Very happy with purchase. Installed this with a new 23 tooth gear drive and now speedo work great and read the correct speed.
