This seems to be a genuine oem part because the Nissan logo is stamped into the metal housing and was an exact fit. Had to replace mine because the foam sandwiched between the metal was totally black and crumbling apart. I'm sure the Nissan dealer would've charged much more for this part although I haven't checked.UPDATE: I bought another one in Oct. 2024 but this one lacks the Nissan logo stamped into the metal on top so it's no longer OEM. It looks like it's made okay though I haven't installed it yet.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received the item within 1 week. The price was good and was an item that was placed, in my car, within 10 minutes. So far, so good! My check engine light is on again but I know what it ''isn't'' for!
