Great pouch but it didn’t last long and started to not block the key signal, I can open and close the doors while the key is inside the pouch

We bought these pouches for their versatility and convenience when on the go. Fits easily into a pocket or purse. Key fobs are held securely, ensuring they are protected from roving scanners. Just remember to remove the fob (if you have keyless start) before starting the car 😆. Good value for the price.

The larger size compared to the competition is perfect for my business. I’m a car share host and utilize remote unlock in my cars Other Style Faraday pouches are often defective.These work perfectly and the magnetic closure gives it a “For Dummies” quality that prevents customers from leaving my car wide open.I started with six and after 6 months hope to have transitioned my whole fleet to these ones as the other more flexible styles have a pretty short life.These are also easier to find inside the compartments in the car plus guests avoid carrying them around and just leave them inside the car.I wouldn’t try these if you use lockboxes because they’re too large but perfect for remote unlock application.

Hopefully these 2 layers will make it last longer. The other brand lasted 6 to 8 months.Even if they last 6 months, they are cheap to buy and do the job perfectly . They block the signal and so far, I'm pretty happy with them.I would not go without them now.

I put my MDX key fob in the pouch and attempted to start the vehicle with the pouch next to the start button. Worked as described, the vehicle would not start. The vehicle does not see the key fob and will not lock or unlock the vehicle while in the pouch. Removing the key from the pouch all functions worked normally. Seems to be made well with a magnetic clasp, but we'll see how it holds up over time and use.

However, what the manufacturer doesn’t mention in the description is the fact that you can’t open or/and start the car, as long as the key is inside the pouch. It makes sense of course but it’s quite suprising and a bit annoying, too. Anyways - it feels good to know that now someone can’t walk behind or beside you in the supermarket with a gadget that scans and copies your car key code, then follows you home to see where you live and returns one night to steal your car off your driveway, as if it is candy.

I tried another make that a friend was using, and he convinced me to buy a faraday pouch for my new truck keys. when I tried his make, the truck recognized my key when I got really close, which seemed to be ok. My wife also keeps a key in her purse and every time she passed by my truck it would unlock as if she was going to get in. Not good.When I got this pouch, I was surprised. The truck did not "see" my key even when I was sitting in the truck,,, until I pulled the key from the pouch. I bought the 2 pack, and now the key in my wife's purse no longer triggers the truck to automatically unlock.I do not doubt that my keys are safely protected from cloning while using these pouches.
