3x as strong as the stock bolt that came with the bearing press. The original stripped the first time i used it. This is a perfect replacement for the crapola that came with the . I bought some and locally bought some fine pitch 3//4 inch grade 8 nuts. I cut a slot in the end of the threaded rod and bought a castle-nut to effectively make this a 'bolt' so i can turn it with a socket vs a wrench.
