The only downside . The gauge outside dia was bigger than original gauge. Would not fit into the confines of the plastic moded box.

Made a custom shop air pressure tester using all high quality components, second purchase of this product and does not disappoint. Used with Pneumatic plus 30 psi regulator and high quality ball valve. Combination makes snap on's piece a bit over priced.

Didn’t buy this as an upgrade to my pressure tester. Bought for use with my pulse sensor. Good quality. Worth buying

I really wanted a shop-air powered pressure tester for the ease and time savings, but the tool trucks want upwards of $250 for theirs. I found this 'rebuild' kit and added a ball valve and pressure regulator, and had my own tester for under 50 bucks! And it works great. I wish the gauge came with a protective rubber boot, but it is what it is.

It installed correctly, but will not seal up to pressurize the system? Didn't work for me, have to buy a whole new one now.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this kit available. I have an old Stant pressure tester (30+ yrs. old) that finally bit the dust, then I found this kit and other associated parts available to repair it, now it works perfect again and is updated for the newer high pressure cooling systems and I saved a bunch of cash by repairing my old tester

I purchased this for a small shop for occasional use for testing cooling systems. It is made of a hard plastic or bakelite type material, and seems pretty durable. However, it is a bit tricky to use, because of it's construction, it has a floating inner piece that makes it a bit awkward to use. It works fine once you look at it closely, and see how it works. It does not work like the expensive billet aluminum $60 adapters, but then again, it costs a fraction of what those do.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it for the price....as they say, "you get what you pay for"...
