They are good if your want lots of files to file in one jacket, otherwise they take up too much space. If you have few papers, they are really a pain to use.

The file jackets are sturdy and hold an ample amount of paperwork. I like that they fit comfortably in hanging file folders or can even stand on their own

Like so many my age, it's time to go through the photos, the paperwork, the letters, the articles, the documents, etc. etc. etc., and get it all organized and ready to leave for posterity. As a traveler, teacher, writer, counselor, parent of three, and grandparent to many, I have lots of paper memorabilia that has to be sorted, evaluated, and prioritized, and then digitalized, filed, or shredded. At some point, I guess, most of it will be scanned and accessible online, but, for now, I need to be able to see it all spread out in front of me BEFORE I make my choices as to what will be scanned and what will be saved as hard copies. File folders are the way to go for me. And, if you label them with Stickies, you can re-use the folders, until you decide which papers will be saved in which folders. Also, these are wide enough to fill easily and to hold several pieces of paper pertaining to one topic.
