I did one extra step at the teak was REALLY black and moldy on the bottom side. I pressure washed it first.I followed the directions, easy peasy. The final step in my opinion is easiest to use a sponge. Don't be in a hurry to wipe off the excess as it will probably soak in if you leave it be.Final results speak for themselves.

Product works amazing. Swim step was very weathered! Sanded and then completed the three step process…Looks brand new again! Thank you!

I bought this to refinish the acacia wood adirondack furniture on my screened porch. I also had to use some of the mold and mildew cleaner, they were in rough shape, but the cleaner and brightener made the whole process much easier. I took everything apart and sanded it all down as well. I ended up applying 3-4+ coats of oil...I guess my furniture was very thirsty...but the end result is beautiful. I'm in Florida so it gets a lot of sun and rain, we'll see how it holds up. I did have to buy much more than I thought I needed, but so far I can highly recommend this stuff!

Product was easy to use. Cleaner had a mild smell. Brightened and oil had stronger smells. I only used a nylon scrub brush and 1 & 0 steel wool. I would have had better results if I had sanded. Regardless, I am pleased with the results. Took me 3.5 hours not including drying time.

I bought an old teak table and 4 chairs that had been stored in a barn for many years. It had some graying, weathered appearance and some mold and cleaner did a good job. I had to put some effort into scrubbing off the mold but product worked much much better than my 1st attempt with dish soap etc. The pictures on the front do show how each step will lead to improved appearance. The amount was enough for 4 chairs and table

Ordered three bottles, one was empty, one was missing and the third was damaged. Would not recommend.

The teak oil causes more long term problems. The first 2 steps worked well and cleaned my teak table nicely. I then sealed it with a teak sealer versus using the oil so I wish I didn't buy the 3 step program (realized after I purchased).

The end result is wonderful. My two teak rockers had been left neglected for about 7 years and their surfaces looked like charcoal with dirt rubbed into it. I'm not sure of the chemistry involved, but I think this is the result of the surface layer of the wood oxidizing in some way similar to rust. The process removes the surface layer of "teak rust". The cleaner seems to soften that layer and make it removal significantly easier, but especially for highly neglected teak, the process takes a lot of elbow grease. Or a power washer. Being no spring chicken, I opted for the power washer. If you use a power washer, use a nozzle with a wide dispersion pattern, as a narrow one will start removing chunks of wood here and there, so be careful if you want to preserve a smooth surface. I'm not sure if the brightener did anything. The bare wood revealed by the thorough cleaning really did not need any brightening. One reviewer stated that the brightener "left a powder" on the wood. Not so. It might look like it, but that's just an indication of how starved for oil the wood might be. Slather enough oil on the wood, and the appearance of "powder" disappears. The two 17 year old chairs now look better than the day I bought them. It was a lot of work, but worth it.

I purchased this kit to restore two teak patio chairs (table chairs) that I picked up at a garage sale. These chairs were completely grey and dry. The legs from the ground up to the seat were almost black. This kit did the trick. I completed steps one and two (cleaner and brightener) on Saturday afternoon and step 3 (oil) on Sunday afternoon. It took the entire bottles for steps 1 and 2 to prep the chairs. The oil goes much further. I have at least half of the bottle left after three applications of oil.The legs of the chairs are a little darker than the rest of the chair but overall the chairs look great. They almost look new!
