The show light is much smaller than pictured but it’s cute does the job and is okay. My star looks great except the silver paint or part it’s a bit sloppy job other than that it’s nice. At least comes with two different show lights .

Really enjoyed this tree topper! Has several discs that can be swapped out to depict several different scenes. Really enjoy the ability to project them on the ceiling, and the fact that we're not stuck with just one pattern, and can periodically swap them out throughout the season! Love this!

When I turned this projector on it made me smile. The dancing images on the ceiling were very festive and fun. However, when I put it on my tree it was too close to the ceiling to look as good.The pictures of the 4 different themes are accurate IF you have higher ceilings. My ceilings are a bit short of 8 feet in height so the top of this projector when on top of the tree was only about a foot and a few inches from the ceiling. That meant that the images projected were smaller and closer together, reducing the effect. The pictures shown on Amazon by the seller all show high ceilings, a fact that I, sadly, didn't realize and it wasn't stated in the description. They should include the information clearly to reduce returns.I posted these 2 pictures so you can see how tight the images are together with lower ceilings. You can stand him on a table or something instead, but I wanted it to put on the tree so I'm disappointed. It's still fun just not what I was hoping for.If you have high ceilings then this would be fun, especially if you have kids, or want to feel that magical Christmas feeling for yourself. If you have low ceilings, be aware that it could be different than what is shown by the seller.

I did not have anyway to connect the light to the tree, literally just the star. It feels sturdy though and looks really nice out of the package.

So this is a great idea. I liked the variety you get in the slides, with colors and if you change up your tree every year like I do, that's a nice thing to have- variety in one tree topper.This actually doesn't weigh as much as I thought it would , so there's a chance this won't be terrible making it stay upright, but that is a challenge every year with a lot of my tree toppers. I have not attempted this, as it is October and not time to bring out the tree .The light itself is bright and constantly swirls and you have little slides that you put into the side that will display your projection on the ceiling. The problem with these is that they only go in 1 way, so make sure that you look for the arrows before attempting to inject the slide. The area in which you have to do this is very small, so people with large hands WILL find this somewhat problematic. Also, you will want to pick one BEFORE you get it set on your tree, because it is not the easiest thing to change out, especially without disturbing it once it's set ontop.Now for the slides...... As stated before, the variety is great, but mine had some odd glitches or scratches in the designs and it ruined 3 of the slides. They come stacked on top of eachother in a small plastic bag. Which you will have to make sure you don't lose or the whole concept is void . They are still usable , but if you are staring at them , you would notice the scratched designs on the ceiling. These are imperfections right out of the box , and for the price you pay for one of these, I don't think you want damaged projections. Because of that, I am taking off a couple stars. Hopefully mine is a fluke and others won't come like that.I like the idea of this, but I can't fully recommend it based on the price point and the damaged slides that came with it.
