Flimsy material. If you want it to protect your artwork look elsewhere. All I did was fold the flap at the crease and it tore! I'm better to use the box it was shipped in.

This portfolio was excellent for my map collection, I can recommend it without reservation. And the vendor provided wonderful customer service sorting out a delivery challenge, which was much appreciated!

I bought this to store topographical maps of hiking areas. For my needs, it doesn't need to be particularly pretty, or sturdy, or durable. It just needs to hold the maps and keep them from getting wrinkled, and it does that very well. It's holding a stack of topo maps and a handful of folding maps and my printed directions to different trailheads, and still plenty of room for more.

This will definitely work to keep my unframed prints safe but I would have preferred the material to be heavier and the size a bit larger. It just barely fits my larger prints. It will work for keeping the prints flat and was wide enough that the prints on a cardboard backing fit in nicely.

We purchased these for storing our children's artwork. The construction is a heavy paper with cloth handles. The gussets allow the product to open up for additional thickness. These are advertised as acid free. The quality and price point is good for our use. These will not be moved around much; just filled and filed in the basement. If like us, you don't have the heart to throw away your child's art, this folio at least makes it more practical to hold on to it!I still have my folio from college photography and it has held up well these 15 years. No damage to the art within. I expect the same out of our newer purchase here.

I wanted something to store my daughter's artwork in without it becomming crumpled or folded. This is perfect for the price! I don't know how they wrapped it because my husband opened it, but it came to me in perfect condition despite the size. It is very large and will hold a lot of artwork. I bought something similar for my friends' kids that cost twice as much, but that's what they asked for so I just bought what they wanted. I guess the only improvement would be if it had dividers in it, but I knew that when I bought it and wasn't an issue for me. The price is fantastic, arrived perfect, is durable...not much else you could ask for at this price. I'm sure if I bought it at my local office supply store they would've charged at least twice as much.

My son required an art portfolio to store his high school art projects in good condition. This one is inexpensive, a good size to fit everything (23" by 31"), and completely does the job to keep his art safely stored. It is constructed of a sturdy, paper type of material which looks as though it is water resistant. If my son were a professional artist who needed to carry his art work daily outside the home, I would have purchased a more expensive, professional portfolio meant for heavier usage. This particular portfolio will simply be storing my son's art work at home, and it is the perfect tool for the job we intend to use it for.

I was looking to purchase a large portfolio to store my children's larger art pieces. Most of their smaller pieces go in a 3ring binder or aft file boxes I have on hand. We have been blessed with a great art teacher in preschool. The result are some larger pieces of our children's interpretations of some of the great masters. I very much wanted a place (other than under my bed) to store these in and keep the dust off and keep them somewhat protected I had to purchase a portfolio for an art appreciation class I took in college many years ago. I had a very nice one. Because of this I was aware of the varying degree of sizes and materials portfolios are made. I was reluctant to purchase one for my needs w/o being able to see it and touch it first. I took a chance. I thought when it arrived that I might be returning it for a stronger more durable material. It seemed rather flimsy just out of the box. I decided to give it a chance. I placed some of their art inside. None of the pieces rolled inside. The art remained flat. I had a couple pieces of poster board and a piece of foam core board left from making signs for a reunion. I slipped a couple of those in the folio to separate each child's art work. I am very pleased with this purchase. it was a good value for the price.
