I have only ever used this for oil to cook meats in it bit it works like a dream! Its super easy to clean and it is pretty deep so its easy to submerge your meat into it. I do however wish the cord was a lot longer as it is pretty short but it still does the trick!

The electric Fondue set worked great. We used broth for our main course and once it was hot it only took a few minutes to cook the meat. We melted chocolate in it for dessert on low and it worked great.

I was expecting a hassle-free, easy and friendly fondue. I loved how easy it was to use, but the electrical cord was a real hassle. It seems like it was designed to annoy us. Quality level, not bad, but for performance, the cable spoils the show. Tonight, our family had a fondue for the first time. It was different. It was fun. Everyone truly enjoyed it. The Starfrit Electric Fondue Set was fantastic. Easy to use. Preferred the electric set, and thought the magnetic plug was a great safety feature. It easily heated the broth up to boiling. The pot was easy to clean. It could not have been any better. I would highly recommend this fondue set. The kids are already planning our next family fondue dinner together.

One of THE BEST Birthday gifts my husband has ever received! Although we are both American (California), my husband went to college in Canada and lived there for 20 years. He KNOWS good Fondue! So, when he said that he wanted a Fondue set for his birthday, I scoured the globe (literally!) for a good Fondue set as I wanted an electric one and they are VERY hard to find!!! I contacted companies in England, France, Netherlands and all over the U.S. and Canada and could not find one that was electric and had VERY good reviews! Unfortunately, once I decided on this Starfrit model, they were ALL SOLD OUT ON AMAZON! Panicked, I contacted the company directly in Canada and ordered this Fondue set online from Starfrit. Not only did they get it here within a couple of weeks of contacting them, but this Fondue set was a BIG HIT! The pot in particular, is VERY EASY TO CLEAN!!! (Just put cold water in the pot and use a little bit of effort and the pot comes out perfect clean!). We loved this Starfrit Fondue set so much, that it will become our "go-to" present, to order for other people's birthdays and the holidays. THANK YOU, Starfrit! Sincerely appreciate your team!
