This is a review of the KHFGDS Starlink Gen 3 Tripod Mount Kit with Adjustable Pipe Adapter. It is amazingly well-built - the tripod, two section mast, and adapter are thick gauge steel. Not something you want to carry in a backpack. But pull out of a vehicle for a rock stable setup.Far stronger than virtually all camera tripods even those with steel legs. The tubular legs are rated to support over 100 pounds. Uniquely has foot pads with screw holes. Can be anchored with screws on a roof or anchor pins into ground. The included foot pads are used to replace the included standard rubber end caps.Allows for mounting on a flat roof or for prolonged time on ground that resists wobbling in the wind. Though I am not sure how well it would stand up to a year's worth of sitting in rain.Very heavy duty steel with exception of the bracket to hold the receiver antenna. Was thinking the mounting plate was also metal from the photo and descriptor but the one I received is plastic. But that piece appears to be good thickness polystyrene with ridged reinforcement to resist torque of the antenna. Overall, an excellent, sturdy stand.

I'm seriously considering this mount for my Starlink setup due to its compatibility and stability features. The idea of having a wobble-free connection, even in windy conditions, sounds ideal for my backyard use.

Excellent tripod for the gen 3 given it's low price. Very sturdy setup when used in open ground with the included tent stakes. Only downside is the base that snaps into the gen 3 is fairly lightweight plastic.
