Like many others, it seems, I didn't get this to use with starlink. It's a very versatile clamp with 1/4" screw that works well with cameras and accessories. It's solid, well, made, and the texture well suited to controlling pointing.

This is pretty sturdy and well built, the clamp is also really smooth. Iv been using it to hold onto the kitchen vent above the stove more often than not to hold the camera for some videos. Previously I was standing behind a tripod and having to reach around that being careful not to bump anything and didn’t have as much freedom to move around so this thing has been a huge help.

This is great for both starlink and video equipment. I used it for my video cameras and it works impressively well. It stays locked in place and I like that it has multiple attachments to be able to connect things like video cameras and lights very solidly.

The Starlink Mini Adjustable Clamp Mount has truly transformed my internet experience! This mount is incredibly sturdy and offers a myriad of adjustment options that allow me to position my satellite dish for optimal signal strength. The installation process was a breeze, and I felt confident in its stability after I secured everything in place. What really impressed me was the meticulous design—every part feels durable and well-made. Whether it's mounted on a pole or a flat surface, the clamp holds my dish securely, even in windy conditions. My internet speeds have significantly increased, and I am delighted with the ease with which this mount allows me to fine-tune my setup. If you're looking to maximize your Starlink performance, this mount is a must-have!

I am using this clamp to attach a Wyze camera to a pack and play so I can monitor my newborn while she naps. This clamp can be attached very firmly to anything that can fit within its jaws, and the pivot adjustment screw can be tightened quite a lot to ensure the camera or other connected device doesn't move. The clamp and pivoting mechanism are made of metal, while the balls that fit within the clamp appear to be plastic. I suppose this is to give the metal sections something to "bite into" to allow for some real tightening. All in all, for my purposes of attaching a camera to an edge and allowing me some fine adjustments of the positioning and angle, this clamp does a great job.

I didn’t actually use it for a Starlink system. I just wanted a 1 inch ball mount that could attach to a 1 inch diameter rail. It is heavy duty, all metal, and does a good job. The clamp holds securely and the bench-vise like tightness adjuster is easy to use, even if it is a little funky looking. There is an additional ball attached to the 1/4 20 mounting screw (like a camera tripod mount) for even more adjustable positioning. It’s a good, solid piece of equipment.

I'm using this for a standard action camera mount and it works perfectly fine for that. The actual unit is basically a camera mount with a starlink mini adapter, so it works for a bunch more than just starlink stuff. The base and the ball clamp are both metal and the ball parts have a sort of grippy texture to them and it helps make positioning everything easier. Typically when you're tightening a clamp like this, both sides need to be held still at the same time otherwise things just go all over the place as you're trying to clamp. With slightly grippy textures it means you can tighten a little bit, and while you still have some play the ball will grip to the plastic clamp a little better and not move around while you adjust the other side. My problem is with the secondary adjustable mount that screws into one of the balls, and then has another screw in adapter on the other side for even more adjustability. It does not line up, and wobbles as you screw or unscrew it. This part seems to be fully made of plastic, and while I would like to be able to utilize it, I don't actually need it for what I do.
