The wide clamp that would connect to a pole was great, but the 3” ram “type” mount was a joke. It would not tighten enough to keep the starlink in place = it would swing down, stay connected, but not stay pointed in a desired direction.I ended up ordering a true RAM straight piece and it works perfect with this main clamp

I tried to use it on the first day, but it wouldn't tighten, so it didn't work at all. I don't recommend it.

Got this as a way to mount the Starlink Mini to my rack and camper. While I also have a need to mount it to a telescopic stand it just doesn't seem to tighten down enough by hand to really make it worthy of 5 stars.I will say that it is robust and I had an event where I was sure it would have failed but all it did was flop the Mini on the less than solid ball joints. It was run up high on a solid telescopic and heavy duty light stand and was toppled by a gust of wind. The Mini was about 12 feet in the air and the pole fell coming to rest on the neighbor's fence. The mount held onto the Mini and saved it from hitting the ground and crushing my wallet!Pros:* Clamp fits the pipe I have to attach it to.* The part that fits into the Starlink Mini mount is well made and robust* Overall it is small in size and made of quality materialCons:* The ball socket clamp is not very secure. It takes a lot of force to get the clamp to hold the joints and even as tight as I can make it by hand it still allows the Mini to be moved. In summary:I will keep using this mount as I understand its limitations. Don't use it on a moving vehicle and be aware that the ball joints do not tighten down very well. If you don't mind occasionally checking on it and tightening it with a tool (I never tried this) then you might get the mount to be super solid. I didn't want to risk breaking it and don't feel that joints like this should need tools to get them sufficiently tight. Not sure if it is the clamping part or the balls that are at fault but it shouldn't be difficult to make this mount really solid with the right parts.UPDATEOn a whim I ordered a Ram brand clamp and it tightens down solidly. The clamp the comes with this kit has a design flaw that limits the amount of clamping force but the ball ends will fit in a B sized Ram clamp and work perfectly.

I ordered this mount *Twice* by mistake, both from different venders, but it's the same mount. This review will be for both. (You will see the same review for both).I have an RV with a ladder. I was looking for a solution to also maybe mount on my van on the luggage rack. This will certainly work on the ladder rails, they are close to 3/4" in diameter. But let me not "lead you into temptation" to think this is robust enough to risk using this while moving. For a mount that is going to be stationary, this will work just fine - as long as the pipe/strut/bracket is not over about 1.4in in outside diameter. The mounting jaws will not open wide enough to clamp on to the rail/mount. I show another mini mounting "pole" that is 1.4in in OD and *if you force it* it will go on. But say the flat aerodynamic rails for my Chrysler van on top? No. Too wide (about 2in.)One last caution about this mount. The screw threads you fit into the adapter threads is only about 1/2in long. Look at my fingernail on the pic and you can gauge how short it is.So to land the plane on this subject: This works good for a fairly small mounting bracket/pipe/mount, it's fairly robust and not flimsy, but I ain't risking my $600 mini array with it while moving.

I got this so that I could mount my Starlink Mini on my trailer ladder. For best results, the Starlink Mini needs to be properly oriented and this helps with that. I have found in the past that some of these adapters do not fit well into the OEM Starlink mounts. This one does fit perfectly. The round adapter puck fits into the Starlink frame perfectly. It is not too tight that it gets stuck, nor is it loose fitting. The clamp fits onto my RV ladder just fine. I like that this adapter allows for the full rotation of the dish. It also allows for easy adjustment of the orientation angle.

I was looking for a solution to attach my 2-in-1 Chromebook to a light stand. The double ballhead clamp is perfect and gives lots of adjustment possibilities. The description states that this clamp is made of "high-quality materials, anti-corrosive, moisture-proof anti-rust". I suppose this could be made of glass filled polyamide. This plastic is on the heavier side and will not rust.In order for the clamp to stay in place, you have to tighten the clamp very strongly. You will see the clamp deform by a couple of millimeters. But even so, the end can still move a little. That is the drawback of using plastic rather than metal for the ballhead. I am not sure this would hold a Starlink antenna in place while driving, but definitely good enough when parked.
