I use these for measuring blades on disks and disk openers on planters where it is difficult to get an accurate measurement with just a tape.

A great inexpensive way to measure large inch pipe! Set the calipers and then measure the distance using a digital caliper. A little cumbersome but a great alternative.

This review is for oil field hands. I have purchased several sets of OD and ID calipers for my directional tools. This is my favorite one. They take a beaten and can be tightened when worn.The matching ID set is Starrett 27-12.
