I loved this all I had to do is use a Dremel and cut a place for the switch and it replaced the key start system on my generator and now it's a push button to start

This switch will operate as an off/on/ start switch but it does not have the spring return from start position. You must switch to run or the starter will remain engaged. OEM switch has a spring return from start position on Champion gen sets. It serves the purpose with operator care.

My generator would start using the pull-start but the switch was intermittent at best until it finally stopped working altogether. I bought the switch above and replacing it is super easy. First, disconnect the negative on your battery. Take a small flat screwdriver and pry the old switch forward and out of the panel. Put the wires on the same corresponding posts on the new switch, push it back in, hook up the battery, and your done. Fit like a glove and works great.

Just as described for my Predator 8750/7000 watt generator. It fits the space perfectly and all wires hooked up just fine. Even the soft plastic protective cover from the original switch fits. Time will tell if it holds up but so far so good.
