I am very disappointed with the product. It stopped working after 2 weeks.Startech products are usually reliable, but this was frustratng.

O cabo é muito curto, o plugue DP é suficiente, mas o plug USB-C faz mal contato, o cabo já está quente em poucos minutos de uso, provavelmente vai estragar em breve.

This cable does not work with MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020). The monitor i have is Samsung Odyssey G9. Very disappointed!

This product worked perfectly, I have a Dell Monitor on a monitor arm and every time I moved it the DisplayPort connection would come loose and the picture would go out. I noted the OEM displayport cables had clips on them like this one, so decided to order this to see if it would solve the problem and it did!

I bought this products to use turned out it didn't work for my computer but it was a very nice product you could tell it it was well made and a good quality I couldn't tell you how it works because it didn't work for my purpose that I bought it for and on my computer I'm sure it was compatible with the HP product that I have it just didn't actually work with the monitor but as far as physically it was a good looking product and looked very well put together it was very sturdy

I just recently picked up a 43-inch monitor and unfortunately, it only had options for HDMI and DisplayPort. I had been using a monitor that used USB-C so I was in a predicament. I am using a 2019 MacBook Pro that only has Thunderbolt/USB-C ports so I needed a way to connect to the new monitor. This is when I started to look for a cable I could trust to do this job. A USB-C to DisplayPort did not seem like an easy to find cable at a big box store so I searched here. My one requirement is it had to be from a company I trust. Thankfully, someone I have used many times, StarTech, made this cable. So when I ordered it, I did not think I would find myself having any issues. When it arrived I quickly put the cable to use and so far so good. I’ve not had any issues and my crazy big monitor is rocking. What's really great about this cable besides the length is the fact it's designed not just for 4K but also 8K. This simply means it's future-proof for a while. The only thing I think would have made the cable better is if it was braided. No complaints here.

All Macs and PCs certified for Thunderbolt 3, are also certified to push display signaling (via DisplayPort) over USB-C. Unfortunately this cable did not work with recent generation MacBook Pro and recent generation Dell display, but of which are certified for DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C. Could just be a defective cable but rating 3 stars. Will try another brand of same cable spec / connector types, if that also fails will revise this review since that would indicate not something specific to StarTech model. Generally, in the past, I've had good luck with StarTech specialty display cables like this one (i.e. something other than the same connector spec / type on both ends).

I have a Macbook Pro 16 and needed a better USB C to Displayport which had the Displayport 1.4 tested and certified. I connected my new Samsung G7 display to the Mac and getting 240hz, 1ms and freesync support. In the old build you own computer store days. Are place in town always carried Startech cable and have gotten them with technology changes over the years. They cost a little more but the quality is there with cables, but they always work.Rock solid displayport cable.

Intitially I had bought the same kind of cable from CableMatters. My plan was to use that with a KVM, only the signal wasn't strong enough and there was static in the picture and the occasional flicker. This cord was slightly more expensive but worth it because it performs as expected for my use case.

Nice quality cable. Sadly doesn’t work with the new 16” MacBook Pro. Works great with older models. StarTech support was great and offered to swap it out for free.
