I say this is better than OEM when using the key fob because you don't have to long-press the button the third time. Instead, you just press the lock button normally three times and the vehicle starts. Installation was just as described in the video and was fairly easy. The kit comes with a trim removal tool, but you will still need one or two hand tools (nothing exotic) to complete the install.

I bought this for my son's 2020 Toyota Camry TRD. It was easy to install. Came with clear instructions. Easy to use once installed, press the lock button on your remote 3 times and the car will start. I just wish they sold an extender for the Toyota Camry remotes. They are notoriously short ranged.

Technologies have really come a long way. This was so easy to install and great instructions. The hardest part was finding a spot to put the starter in the steering Colum.

its extremely useful but uses the original remote and if you know Toyotas their remotes distance sucks. either than that I love how its all OEM look and beats paying the same at the dealer for a subscription after a year or be told its incompatible. only gripe is that after opening the door it immediately turns off but I see it as a theft deterrent vs a con just a tad inconvenient if its really hot or cold. also the start with the clicks sometimes acts up or starts when I don't intend when locking the car.

Installed this and it would not work. Wont power up. Followed instruction's as they are written and will not even power up, wont start car and cant even try programming. Will be returning for a full refund

Was purchased for my wife as a Christmas gift. The fact the system utilizes factory fob instills piece of mind there should be no security issues in the future.Very simple install with clear directions and clear instructions on "programming". Very much appreciated seller contacting me after purchasing to verify I ordered the correct kit.Would highly recommend. Your vehicle may also be on their youtube page making installation even easier!

very well put together ... it took about 15 mins to install and program , no wire splicing .. truly plug and play and works off your factory remote .. lots of you tube videos to help with install .. with links right off the company install card

Just installed this kit in my Camry, and as stated this kit was super easy to install and uses the factory key fob. Looked up a couple youtube vids as backup but the directions provided were pretty clear. Took maybe 20 minutes to install. I honestly think replacing the trim pieces was the hardest part.(which wasn't difficult at all, just a tedious process of alignment.) It worked as soon as I installed it, have yet to test the distance of the factory fob. But very satisfied to have remote start on a vehicle you would think that's less than 5 years old would already have. Will definitely recommend to others.Feb.21 update: So after having this for a few months now it still works great, no issues there. The only annoyance I felt like I should mention to potential buyers is the range on this. Honestly the range is terrible unless your starting your car from your garage or the car is sitting outside your house then it's fine. But if your looking to start your car from a distance such as heading to it from work and it's in the parking lot, not good at all. I'd say the range is somewhere inside 40ft, and by the time it gets the signal to start and goes thru a start up sequence before actually starting your either already at the vehicle or its been running for 5-10 seconds. Depending on how fast you walk. So if you are planning on buying to be able to start from a distance I'd either get this and the range extender from start-x or another remote start system completely.I do not have the range extender they sell and don't know much about it. I'll prolly be switching this unit out for a compustar or a viper system in the near future to better suit my needs.

Great product and the install was super easy. Took me about forty minutes from start to finish and I like that you still get to use the factory remote. My only gripe is that you have to restart the car when you get in but that's a Toyota thing and I get why they do it. Other than that, I'm happy!

As long as you have a decent understanding of how your car's dash is held together and can use a Philips screwdriver, this install is very easy. Just take your time and pay attention to how things go back together and you will be fine. If you are worried, take pictures before and during the project for reference. Instructions are easy to follow but looking up the YouTube video for your car is even more useful. Works perfectly and my wife is happy. Definitely recommended as this is much cheaper than an OEM remote start or custom install.

I used to install remote starts and car alarms for a living. That was before Plug-and-Play was a thing. What used to take an experienced installer 2+ hours, multiple relays and lots of soldering now takes anyone with the ability to read and a philips screwdriver less than an hour. And, the programming is a breeze. I would recommend this product to anyone! And... I don't have to pay Toyota a yearly fee to use their built-in remote start! The only negative is that it shuts off when you open the door, a minor inconvenience. tech support not rated as they weren't needed.
