Love it for my rice, it works like a charm. Some rice will still get stuck on it if it's particularly wet but it comes off easy. I'd suggest cleaning with a brush rather than a sponge, it makes it a breeze.

My family and I have gone through probably dozens of rice scoopers over the years. Smooth ones, pebbly ones, self standing ones, cute shaped ones, the ones that come with the rice cooker... this one puts the rest to shame. It has great heft, feels super sturdy, and has a fantastic (and much longer than typical) handle. We liked it so much that I was going to buy a second one in case this one broke, but then realized that it's so well made that it will possibly last longer than I will...

I was surprised that the spoon was so short, until I used it. What a game changer for me, who has always used a wooden spoon. Great for fluffing and serving rice.

Impulse buy and worthy of the wait. Sturdy, handsome, ergonomic. Does exactly what it was intended for. Strong enough to break up ground beef, indispensable stirring and serving for spaghetti sauce. Was worried black silicone? would melt—no issues so far. Real wood handle is a bonus, perfect length!

Staub silicone & acacia wood handled utensils are excellent! Durable, well made & designed, easy to use, reasonably priced (they also have excellent sales)and they look great! Perfect for any pans but particularly stick free! (won’t scratch the finish)

The little nodes are on both sides and I would have preferred them just on one side. You kind of need a rice spoon like this if you plan on removing plain rice from cast iron pots. The nodes are useful for making sushi rice, but not for regular rice scooping. Issue being, is that the nodes are a tiny bit too raised and rice gets caught in-between. Nothing that stopped me from keeping the product though.
